The underwater world
Diving opens a door to a secret world where reality meets imagination. For more than thirty years, underwater photography has been much more than a passion for me: it’s a way to share the wonders I discover on every dive.
Below the surface, time slows down. Hovering, camera in hand, waiting for a fleeting moment, a dolphin streaking past like a shooting star or a shaft of sunlight piercing the water and setting a reef ablaze, takes a delicate balance between technical control and quiet observation. Light, shifting shadows, perspectives bent by the water: every image is composed in a demanding environment that constantly pushes me to explore new techniques and test the limits of my gear.
Marine mammals, sharks, reefs, wrecks, caves, freshwater or the macro world: through these galleries, I hope to share the emotion I felt making these images, spark your curiosity about the unknown, and inspire deep respect for fragile ecosystems that are now under serious threat.
