Cave Diving

From the cenotes of the Yucatán to the caves of the Red Sea, cave diving takes you where daylight no longer reaches. In Mexico, these natural sinkholes open onto networks of flooded passages, decorated with stalactites that formed in open air long before the water rose. Shafts of sunlight, perfectly clear water, dive lights cutting through the darkness: here, every image is first and foremost a matter of light. And sometimes, at the entrance to a cenote, a crocodile shows up to remind you that the jungle is never far away.
